Hello, and Welcome!

Hi there!  My name is Holli, and I'm a Mental Fitness Coach.

What is mental fitness.webp

Mental fitness, like physical fitness, is the act of strengthening the mind.  The brain is like a muscle.  We must feed it what it needs in order to keep it healthy and strong.

Mental Fitness Coaching shows you that taking care of your mind is not about turning weakness into strength.  It is the process of learning how to nourish your mind with accurate ways of thinking, so that you can effectively manage challenges with grace and confidence.

Just like when you go to the gym, it is never "one and done."  Mental fitness is an ongoing practice that must be regularly maintained.  We never know what life will challenge us with next, so we must learn to ready ourselves, as much as possible, for any and all eventualities.  To know that, whatever happens, we can handle it.

Becoming You

We are all in a state of becoming.  That is the nature of being human.  We are designed to learn and grow from birth to death, and life is the roller-coaster in between.  The best part is, we can change past errors in beliefs, interpretations, and conditioning, any time we want!  You see, thanks to neuroplasticity, our brains can adapt, change, and rewire themselves, as we work towards breaking old thinking, feeling, and behaviour habits, and starting new ones.  Isn't that great news?!

What if you no longer felt less than, because of your quiet, introverted nature?  What if you knew how to say what you want to say, without fear of attack or confrontation?  What if you learned to accept who you are, and stopped being paralyzed by self-doubt?  What if you felt comfortable in your own skin, no matter where you were or who you were with?!

These questions have been central to becoming who I am.  Coaching myself in these areas is a daily, lifelong, practice too.  Life will always challenge us in new and unpredictable ways.  We can't know what will be thrown at us next, but we can know how to handle it, in the most effective, least harmful way.  That's what I've been learning to do, and now I want to teach it to you.

Becoming You Mental Fitness Coaching is a place where you will benefit from the years of research I have learned to put into practice in my own life.  As someone that has experienced the debilitating effects of severe anxiety and panic attacks, I know exactly what it's like to believe that things will never get better.  I'm here to tell you, without hesitation, that they will.  They absolutely will.  All you need is the willingness to be honest with yourself, increased self-awareness, and an unrelenting commitment to making a change.

I will guide you through the tools and strategies, developed by world-leading experts, proven to be the most effective at creating a happier you.  This is the beginning of a life-changing awakening to Becoming You...the real you.  The you that has been buried beneath years of doubt, others' expectations, fear, and societal conditioning.

Welcome to learning how to live your life with inner peace and empowerment!

Meet Holli McConini

Since the passing of my husband in 2017, I have dedicated my life to personal development.  I work through life's adversities by learning resilience strategies, mindset practices, and the tools of post-traumatic growth, from the world's top minds and scientific researchers.  It's now time to share what I've learned!
