Hi there! My name is Holli, and I'm a Mental Fitness Coach.

Mental fitness, like physical fitness, is the act of strengthening the mind. The brain is like a muscle. We must feed it what it needs in order to keep it healthy and strong.
Mental Fitness Coaching shows you that taking care of your mind is not about turning weakness into strength. It is the process of learning how to nourish your mind with accurate ways of thinking, so that you can effectively manage challenges with grace and confidence.
Just like when you go to the gym, it is never "one and done." Mental fitness is an ongoing practice that must be regularly maintained. We never know what life will challenge us with next, so we must learn to ready ourselves, as much as possible, for any and all eventualities. To know that, whatever happens, we can handle it.

Becoming You
For myself, the awareness of becoming me started about a year ago, in 2024. I was lying awake in bed one night, contemplating all the changes I was working hard to make in myself, and it hit me. I thought to myself, "it's like I'm becoming a new person." Well, the realization lit up my body like a firecracker. I got this overwhelming surge of adrenaline that made me want to jump out of the bed. It was like I had discovered the meaning of life! That's when I knew I was onto something special. It was a knowing like nothing else I had ever felt before. This was the thing I had been looking for. The guiding light of my mission to help people find themselves again.
The irony of it is, that it's not really a new person as such. Depending on what your beliefs are, you can look at it more as a remembering. A coming back to the person you have always been. The you that has been buried beneath years of self-doubt, others' expectations, fear, and social conditioning. Spiritual teacher Wayne Dyer once said, "You are not behind, you are becoming. When you accept this, truly accept it, the anxiety begins to dissolve."
As we change over time, we are all in a state of becoming. That is the nature of being human. We are designed to learn and grow from birth to death, and life is the choices we make in between. The best part is, we can change past errors in beliefs, interpretations, and conditioning, any time we want! You see, thanks to neuroplasticity, our brains can adapt, change, and rewire themselves, as we work towards breaking old thinking, feeling, and behaviour habits, and starting new ones. This is great news!
The key to making changes is self-awareness. You can't do it without it. You have to KNOW what needs to change. You have to WANT to make the change. And you have to BELIEVE you can make the change. It'll be some of the hardest work you've ever done, AND, the most important. You will get your self back. Plus, you will have me there to support you every step of the way!
To give you an understanding of what makes me uniquely qualified to offer you support, I will tell you how I have been working to become my self again. Letting go of self-doubt and imposter syndrome so that I can become an entrepreneur. Not allowing my grief to stop me from becoming a mentally healthy widow and single mom. Dropping my ego so that I can become the supportive, loving, non-reactive mom my daughter deserves. Learning to lead from the heart so that my sensitive nature becomes my greatest strength. Accepting and loving myself again so that I become confident in my conviction to speak my truth and own who I am!
Becoming You Mental Fitness Coaching is a place where you will benefit from the years of research I have learned to put into practice in my own life. As someone that has experienced the debilitating effects of severe anxiety and panic attacks, I know exactly what it's like to believe that things will never get better. I'm here to tell you, without hesitation, that they will. They absolutely will. All you need is the willingness to be honest with yourself, increased self-awareness, and an unrelenting commitment to making a change.

Since the passing of my husband in 2017, I have dedicated my life to personal development.
